Catfish, crayfish, and another incredible session!

Travis Hester, founder of Eat My Catfish, spoke at this month’s meeting detailing how his company came to be. What started as a small food truck in Benton, Arkansas, exploded into seven prosperous restaurants across the state. With the support of family and friends (and some of MawMaw’s recipes), Travis was able to take on the risk of opening a quality catfish restaurant during some of the hardest times in the restaurant industry. His success comes from two main concepts - having a positive attitude and learning every day. Each of his team members adopted his vision of success and have helped him run his company through the years, some beginning as early as the age of 15. Travis embraces leadership and training for his team in ways that promote their own growth within the company and in life. Sharing his story with L.I.F.E. Prep offered insight on how to postiively establish and grow a successful business.
